Deuteronomy 18:15-19
When Moses knew his time on earth was drawing to a close, he prophesied the coming of a prophet who would speak God’s words to His people–one we must heed. As usual, God does more than we expect. He doesn’t just send a prophet, He sends His Son. Jesus not only speaks God’s words, but shows us how we should heed–obey–God. He also makes provision for us before He leaves earth, just like Moses did, so that we would not be left alone again.
